The 2024 Best In The Desert King Shocks Laughlin Desert Classic, presented by Baja Designs, is set for October 17-20. BITD announced an update to the Saturday schedule, and Saturday races will now start during daylight hours on Saturday.

- 6:30 AM – Staging Race 1 –Motorcycles & ATVs
- 7:00 AM – Race # 1 Start – 10 Laps with GP Finish
- 9:30 AM – Staging Race 2- Pre-Run/ Limited Car/Truck (Classes 1100, 1200, 2000, 3000, 4500, 4600, 4800, 6000, 7300, 4500 V, 7100, 8100, 8200, 1700, 2700, 3700)
- 10:00 AM – Race #2 Starts – 8 Laps with GP Finish
- 12:30 PM – Staging Race 3 – ALL UTV’s & Class 1000
- 1:00 PM – Race #3 Starts – 10 Laps with GP Finish
- 3:30 PM – Staging Race 4- Trick Truck, Unlimited Cars & 6100 Spec Truck
- 4:00 PM – Race #4 Starts – 10 Laps with GP Finish

And we are open for race registration! Every BITD class – car – truck – motorcycle – ATV – UTV are encouraged to register to race NOW!

The popular Event Expo will be held in conjunction with Tech behind Harrah’s Laughlin Resort. Registration is inside Harrah’s.
The King Racing Shocks Laughlin Desert Classic, presented by Baja Designs, is a prestigious off-road racing event that has been held in Laughlin, Nevada since 1997. The event is hosted by the Best in the Desert Racing Association and features some of the world’s best Trick Truck, UTV and motorcycle racers. The event has been won by some of the biggest names in off-road racing, including Josh Daniel, Cody Parkhouse, Troy Messer, Marc Burnett, Jason Voss, Harley Letner, Randy Merritt, Phil Blurton, Travis Chase, Bill Wingering, Ryan Hancock, Christian Sourapas, Mitch Guthrie Jr, Adam Householder, Kyle Jergensen, Connor McMullen, Kyle Kraft, Chris Schweers, Andrew Myers, Justin Lofton, Joe Terrana, Cayden MacCachren, Cody Bradbury, Tracey Poole and Jordan Brenthel. This event is partnered with both The “Las Vegas Events” group as well as the Laughlin City Tourism and Commission.
Laughlin in October offers a perfect blend of warm days and cool nights, with average daytime highs around 90 degrees and night-time lows in the low 70s. It’s an ideal time to come and race with Best In The Desert at one of the favorite locations for off-road racing.
